THE BIRTH OF OUR COMPANY
My dad would overhear the people in their cars complaining of being hungry but did not want to take a chance on leaving their cars unattended while searching for a place to eat. So, my dad discussed the idea of supplying snacks to the drivers who would be waiting in line for hours. We purchased a rolling service table and used it as a food cart. We loaded the cart with Food, coffee sweet rolls, and juices. We rolled the cart in between the waiting vehicles and began to serve them. We made quite a lot of money at the time and made many individuals happy.
In the 1980s my dad established his first LLC corporation-Martial Enterprises and started selling an ant-the device for cars. It was an ignition shut-off device which could be placed in any hidden Ansa of a person’s vehicle just switch it on and no one would be able to hot-wire the car and steal it He had sold many units until a corporate Company purchased the manufacturer and started satang worldwide “Well, stated my dad, “on to the next project”. I love this man. I wasn’t aware that my father had patented a few beautiful lamps until his passing in 2013. Now fast forward to the 1980s. I was very much into building model cars, planes, boats and then operating radio-controlled toys (thanks to my dad).
After these lessons, I developed several ventures and jobs for myself. After graduation from high school, my dad sat down with me so I could assure him I would go to college. This was a given. He also noticed that he had been associated with some of the kids my age as they hung out on the street corners on any given day. His exact words were, “I know that they are your friends, but I don’t want to see you living on that corner. They have missed, ignored, and refused many work opportunities. I would like to see you work a little who is going to school.” I told him that I am going to go to college but I’m not sure that I will have time to work. “You’ll have time,” he responded. On one Saturday he had been changing clothes into a set of overalls and he had lifted his car onto jack stands with the use of a jack. He showed me the different parts of his car-brakes. Transmission, power steering, radiator, spark plugs, and various wires and hoses. He reviewed the car repair manual with me which shows how to perform basic service on a car. I learned very quickly. He stated, “Now you have a job. All the neighbors stated they don’t have time to service their cars as they should. I began Informing them that I am available at the weekends for their car service needs, I became happily independent. Love you dad.
